Animated film 'King of Kings' has earned $60 million at the North American box office, setting a new record for the highest-grossing Korean film in the region.

Directed by Jang Sung-ho, the film took 10 years to develop and is based on Charles Dickens’ The Life of Our Lord, focusing on the universal theme of love through the story of Jesus.
Following its North American release, the film has been screened in over 40 countries and is set for official release in Korea on July 16.
The English voice cast includes Kenneth Branagh, Uma Thurman, and Ben Kingsley, while the Korean version features Lee Byung-hun, Jin Seon-kyu, and Honey Lee.
Experts attribute the film’s success to the combination of advanced animation technology, compelling storytelling, and a star-studded cast.
